If you have photos that you want to sell online one option is to join a stock photo website. These websites will allow buyers to come view your photos and then buy ones that they want to use on their own websites or in print media, etc. Normally most of these stock photography websites want high quality generic type photos that could be used in various types of print and online media.

If your photos are more personal in nature then you may want to consider starting your own website and allowing people to "buy" your photos directly from you. By doing this you avoid any fees that may be incurred with the stock photography websites.

Setting up your own website to sell your photos is not that difficult. Iif you have your own hosting space you can easily find free scripts that will allow you to upload your photos and list them for sell. You can use PayPal to accept payment and have the entire process automated such that the user is automatically given links to download their purchased photos.

If you are looking to earn revenue from your photos you might check out Associated Content. This site allows you to publish articles, images, audio and videos. As you gain an audience with your content, Associated Content will pay you for the content you provide. It can be a good way to earn some extra cash.

Yes there are lots of places that will give youa free website. Do a search on google for "free website" and you will find some. FreeWebs.com is one and if you buy a domain at Godaddy they will give you space for a website. Note, however, that most places that give you free websites will include their own advertising on your pages. If you want to ensure you have total control over your site I would suggest paying for your own space and create a site. HostGator.com is one that I use quite a bit. If you are not doing anything elaborate you should be able to get out for under $10/month...especially if you pay for several months at a time. Hope this helps...if you need more details or have more questions just let me know. Thanks.
